Shannon Zimmerman

Shannon serves as CEO of Sajan and has helped lead the company to unprecedented growth and market leadership over the past twelve years. Shannon has 15 years of experience in Information Technology (IT), most of which has been spent in senior technology positions. He has served in technology focused and strategic business leadership roles in the telecommunications, healthcare, manufacturing, and service industries.

Sajan was recently recognized by INC. Magazine as one of the fastest growing companies in 2008 and 2009 in America. As an industry leader, Shannon has drawn upon a strong background in technology and enterprise business solutions to position Sajan for continued market leadership. According to Shannon, “The language translation industry has been one of predominantly service-centric business models, offering little in the way of innovative value to the corporate enterprise.” He continues, “A blended approach, properly balancing in the people, process, and leading technology now rise to meet the growing demands of this wonderful market.”

Sajan was founded by both Shannon and partner, Angel Zimmerman in 1997. The business emerged as a technology company, but responding to market demands, quickly adapted the offering to blend both language translation technology and service, offering a more complete solution to clients. Today, the company has expanded to serve North America, Europe, and Asia with offices in each of those regions.
