Managed Services
Allow Sajan to manage your localization program - in part or in whole - while still procuring translations from other language service providers.
The Managed Services delivery model consists of Sajan directing your localization program, projects and multiple translation vendors in the supply chain, but still giving you the ability to choose and do business with other translation suppliers. GCMS is at the center, managing the people, process and projects, hosted in the cloud and priced on a subscription basis.
While the exact flavor of Managed Services is flexible and based on a client’s needs, some common examples include:
Strategic Program Management
In this model, Sajan manages the entire localization program for a client, and helps chart the course for streamlining the process and driving higher quality. This is best enabled through an on-site, full-time Sajan program manager, whose role includes vendor management/relations, project management, translation memory and glossary management, and overall attention to cost and ROI. This model allows a client’s existing language service vendors to be leveraged, but Sajan manages the program holistically.
Multi-vendor Project Management
In this offering, the client owns overall program management, but utilizes the services of Sajan project managers to drive projects, coordinating across multiple language vendors. Project managers can assist the program manager in numerous ways, but their primary role is to act as the quarterback for translation projects on a daily basis.
Supplemental Project Management
Often times, a client employs their own localization project managers, but would like to outsource some languages and/or content types to a language service provider. In this case, Sajan can supply one or more project managers to work alongside the client’s project manager(s), with each individual responsible for unique projects, and often times, unique vendors.
Providing Managed Services helps clients realize the value of partnering with Sajan, and also drive value from the use of GCMS. Our goal is to help our clients centralize their translation assets and define a common workflow through GCMS, while also allowing flexibility for a variety of different constituents to collaborate within the system.
